He was born on March 16, 1824, in St. Petersburg and was known for his landscape paintings. Bogolyubov showed an early passion for art and received his first formal education at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. He studied under distinguished artists and teachers, quickly developing his skills and a keen sense of detail. He became particularly fascinated by nature and the beauty of landscapes, which would shape his artistic works.
