Silver. Baroque. Finland. Made by Fredrik Dammert, active in Viipuri/Helsinki 1712-1755. Smooth surface. Foot and top edge gilt, inside gilt also. Engraved text from the period "Stjänkt af den Bäste och Ömaste MOR til dess yngsta Son, O.G.W". Height 17.5 cm. Weight 333 g.

Fredrik Dammert became a master goldsmith in Viborg 1712. He worked there until he was caught and placed in Russian captivity. He returned to work as a goldsmith in Helsinki 1722 where he worked until his death 1755.
