Gilt brass hilt with rich embossed foliate decoration. Sharksin grip with triple brass twine. Straight damascus blade with double fullers, etched and gilt decoration and cyrillic text 'To commemorate the centenary of the Guard cavalry regiment January 11th 1899' and text 'Graf Lynar s./l. Grafen Berg'. Ricasso with maker's mark. Back of blade marked 'M. Neumann Hoflieferant. Berlin'. Nickeled metal scabbard. Length 119 cm, blade 103 cm.

Minor surface rust stains on blade.

Палаш, Россия/Германия, конец 19в., с двусторонней заточкой. Декорирован выгравированным и позолоченным орнаментом, на клинке надпись: В память празднования 100-летнего юбилея кавалергардского полка 11 января 1899г. На другой стороне клинка надпись латиницей:Graf Lynar s./l. Grafen Berg. На задней части клинка надпись: M. Neumann Hoflieferant. Berlin. Длина 119 см, лезвие 103 см. Хранился в частной коллекции в Финляндии ок. 50 лет (доп. информация - по запросу).
