Floral and foliage decorations, engraved cartouche above the mid-rib, double scroll handle, hinged lid with an openwork thumbpiece. Maker's mark I:E at the bottom and on the handle for John Edwards II or his son.
Height 23 cm. Weight 1417 g.

Later gilding. Later engraving "Pro Virtute" with a monogram. Scratched writing and traces of labels at the bottom.
