Timo Sarpaneva Collection F311

During his long career that spanned over decades Sarpaneva created objects in glass, steel, textile, porcelain, and cast iron. He was a fearless and open-minded designer who wasn’t afraid to try new things. Sarpaneva’s private collection consists of an extensive selection of objects, everything from prototypes to ready products. In the middle of the 1990s the Finnish state and city of Helsinki bought approximately 400 of the objects, this was however just a small portion of the collection. The selection which is now being sold at Bukowskis presents selected objects from Sarpaneva’s private collection, welcome to browse and bid on the selection.
