A Louis XV rosewood marquetry 'table à écrire' in the manner of the Spindler brothers, mid 18th century.
The rectangular top with polychrome inlay of flowers within a rocaille border above a writing top and frieze drawer, on acanthus-holstered cabriole legs terminating in brass castors. Length 62, width 52, height 76 cm. Key included.
Veneer damage, repairs, and buckles. Faded. Mounts partly associated. Top with drying crack. Renovated. Keys included.
