Information from the seller:
Bosse "Brastad" Johansson was a well-known Swedish racing and rally driver who owned several interesting competition cars. He stated that he had owned a Saab that was driven by Pat Moss-Carlsson and Elisabeth Nyström in the Swedish Rally to the Midnight Sun. From the car, he had this instrument panel from L. Sundstedt, Stockholm, as well as a Minerva split-seconds stopwatch. The seller acquired both timepieces from Johansson in exchange for a pair of Dellorto carburettors, of which he was the sole importer at the time.
Pat Moss-Carlsson and co-driver Elisabeth Nyström competed together for Saab during the 1960s and participated in the Swedish Rally to the Midnight Sun in 1964 in a Saab Sport. Bosse "Brastad" Johansson, later known as Boo Brasta, was a prominent Swedish racing driver during the 1960s and 1970s.
