Rectangular table tops with burlwood veneer, straight joined legs. Aprons with carved relief featuring geometric decor and auspicious symbols. Height 55-66 cm. Tops 34x28, 41 x 31.5, 48 x 35.5 cm.

Provenance

From the Collection of Ove Christian Lunn, Danish Diplomat and Consul General for Denmark in Shanghai 1928-1935. Lunn had an exciting diplomatic career and was posted 1910-18 in Oslo, 1918-24 in San Francisco, 1924-28 Melbourne and then finally Shanghai 1928-35. Thence by descent within the familiy.
