Modernism from Max Ernst to Roger Risberg via Meret Oppenheim

The great scientific discoveries of the last century have been readily embraced by us. Artistic breakthroughs, on the other hand, have initially been regarded as questionable and difficult to understand, only later becoming accepted, admired and finding their place in our museums.

Bukowskis presents an exciting themed auction featuring works from a collection assembled over many years with both knowledge and enthusiasm. The auction includes works by artists who have each transformed and renewed the course of art in different ways: Meret Oppenheim, Max Ernst, Otto G. Carlsund, Eric H. Olson, C.O. Hultén, Eddie Figge, Rune Jansson, Olle Bonniér, Sten Eklund, Lennart Rodhe and Elis Eriksson.
