An antique Chinese figural carpet, Qing dynasty.
Dark blue ground with polychrome Foo dogs playing among clouds. The light camel hair coloured main border has stylized dragons and peonies. The inner secondary border has peony pattern. Measurements 272 x 186,5 cm.
Partly worn, slightly dirty, stains, some colour run areas, repairs. One side has minor fold wear, the ends are slightly damaged.
