Frans Olof Westerberg (1750-1811) var son till spegelfabrikör och handlaren Olof W och utbildades hos honom. Redan som 19-årig angavs enligt Kommerskollegiums räkenskaper för 1769 att han producerat 69 speglar, 66 lampetter samt 3 ljuskronor.
