A MEDITATION RUNNER, an antique Ningxia, China, late
Qing, ca 230 x 59 cm
(as well as 7-8 cm fabric at the sides and ends). Four squares. A light terracotta coloured ground with a polychrome flower medallion and corner ornaments. A yellow border with a pearl pattern. Lined.
Some wear, slightly dirty, minor stains and damages, repairs. One end has a later guard stripe.
