Gilded and patinated bronze. Relief decoration of rope twist and chased work. Grip with reversible light pipe, base with a sculpture of Napoleon II, underneath fitted with a sand shaker, pen holder, and compartments for ink pots. Height 32 cm, including light pipe.

Minor wear. Base plate and inkwell are missing.
