A glazed porcelain sculpture of an Eurasian Eagle-Owl, Rörstrand, early 20th century.

Decoration in underglaze colours, incised signature W. Lindström and stamped Rörstrand. Height 45.5 cm.

Cracks, retouches, one ear tuft with repair.

Provenance

Previously part of the Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory collection.
Subsequently sold at “Gustavsberg – Rörstrand Auction No. 7”, Mälarbygdens Auktionsbyrå, 25 September 1994, catalogue no. 116. Depicted on the front cover.
