Veneered with ebony and rosewood. Rich inlays of engraved ivory, including scenes from Ovid’s Metamorphoses. One side fitted with a pull-out drawer with compartments. Length 45, width 36.5, height 11.5 cm. Key included.

Restored, with minor additions and partially retouched engraving.
