Shiro Kuramata (1934-1991)

Shiro Kuramata was a Japanese designer. In the 1980s, Kuramata was invited by the Italian designer Ettore Sottsass to join the Memphis Group in Milan, where he, together with young designers, revolted against the conventional design ideals.
