Stolmakare verksam i Stockholm. Fick burskap och blev mästare 1788. Arbetade i gustaviansk, sengustaviansk och empirestil. Mycket välgjorda och smakfulla sittmöbler. Ofta är de i avvikande kompositioner. Från 1800-talets början arbetade han även med sittmöbler i mahogny. Sign CIWS.
