A swedish silver coffee pot, mark of Christian Hammer, Stockholm 1859.

Baluster shape with pierced paw feet, flared spout and leaf-capped handle, as well as a lid finial in the form of a flower. Engraving "A. Lindman" "Tacksammast af Morkarla Ågräfnings Bolag 1869". Height 27 cm. Weight 620 grams.

Minor wear and dents. The handle is included loose.

Provenance

Arvid Lindman was a member of parliament from 1905 to 1935, Prime Minister in Sweden from 1906 to 1911 and from 1928 to 1930. Thereafter by inheritance.
