One chair in mahogany and mahogany veneer, the other one of various woods, carved decoration, upholstered seat and back. Seat height 41 cm. Width 58 cm, depth 42 cm, total height 93 cm.

Renovated, repairs. The other one with additions. Seating somewhat compressed. Later upholstery, stains on the seats.

From the collection of Ambassador Osmo Lares (1926-2025)
Osmo Lares was a distinguished Finnish diplomat who devoted his career to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His early postings took him to Prague (1956–1959), Cologne (1960–1964), and Paris (1966–1969). He subsequently served as Ambassador to Tokyo – with side accreditation to Seoul – from 1972 to 1978, followed by appointments to Canberra (1983–1987), The Hague (1987–1989), and Dublin (1989–1991).
