Lock end plate and the key missing. The door does not shut tightly. A minor crack in the glass. Marks. Keys missing.

Osmo Lares was a distinguished Finnish diplomat who devoted his career to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His early postings took him to Prague (1956–1959), Cologne (1960–1964), and Paris (1966–1969). He subsequently served as Ambassador to Tokyo – with side accreditation to Seoul – from 1972 to 1978, followed by appointments to Canberra (1983–1987), The Hague (1987–1989), and Dublin (1989–1991).
