Oak frame upholstered in sheepskin. The armchairs and stool are branded. The table with an oak-veneered top. Seat height of the armchairs 40, height 102 cm. Height of the stool 49, width 60, depth 45 cm. Diameter of the table 46, height 48 cm.

The overall impression is good. Minor marks and occasional stains. Upholstery with minor wear to the front.

More about Yngve Ekström

Yngve Ekström was one of Sweden's most prominent furniture designers. He also worked as an architect and sculptor and designed logos, catalogs, and advertisements.

Yngve Ekström began his career working in furniture factories, where he learned to work with wood as amainterior decoration.

His furniture is characterized by straight, tight lines in bendable wood. Several of his designs are now considered design classics, such as the Lamino armchair, the Arka chair, and the Pinocchio chair.

Together with his brother Jerker and Bertil Sjöqvist, Yngve Ekström started the Swedese furniture company in Småland in 1945.
