COMING SOON: Important timepieces

viewing 11-15 May, auction 16 May

Following a sensationally successful premiere auction last autumn, Bukowskis’ “Important Timepieces” became the most successful timepiece auction in Scandinavia, thanks to a single auction. The upcoming auction, like the first, is symbolised by its uniqueness and by the collectibles carefully selected by Bukowskis’ distinguished specialists Mikael Wallhagen and Tony Frank.

“The highest closing price at our premiere auction, SEK 1,286,000, for a Rolex, Paul Newman’s Daytona, demonstrates the enormous demand for quality timepieces. There has been a very strong price trend over the past five years when it comes to timepieces and we do not see any signs of that changing in the near future,” says Mikael Wallhagen.

The focus is on attractive collectibles and unique vintage items, and Bukowskis is already able to present a much sought after Rolex Cosmograph, with a reserve price of SEK 380,000. Other highlights included in the auction are a Heuer Autavia with a reserve price of SEK 90,000 and a Rolex Submariner with a reserve price of SEK 100,000, both fine examples of the level of the auction.

“I am very much looking forward to our “Important Timepieces” auction, as collectors from all over the world will be coming to Stockholm to attend and meet with other collectors and specialists in timepieces. Following a timepiece all the way from us receiving and valuing it until a new customer takes it home after the auction is a privilege and always really exciting,” says Tony Frank.
