Success for Scandinavias leading watch auction
High final prices and intense bidding when more than 100 watches were hammered at Bukowskis. One of the auction's many top numbers was a Patek Philippe, Nautilus, in 18k gold, which ended up at a total of 477 750 SEK, which subsequently became the auction's most expensive sold watch.
A fantastic result for the spring auction, high average prices after intensive bidding in the salesroom, over the phone and online. It's always exciting to see that we're reaching out internationally, which tonight's auction proved when bids came from all over the world, says Carl Palmegren, Head Specialist Watches.
Further highlights of this spring's auction were a classic Audemars Piguet, Royal Oak, which achieved a final price of SEK 318,500 and a Rolex, Submariner 1680, with all accessories intact.

An unusual Rolex GMT-Master II in white gold and an OMEGA, Speedmaster, chronograph, "Ultraman" sold high over estimate which proved the never-ending attraction for these brands with watches sold at respectively SEK 287 875 and SEK 165 375.
In total, 97 out of 102 watches were hammered, which is the lowest number of unsold items ever for the Important Timepieces auction, which this season sold for a total final price of 9,2 million SEK.
