Louise Arén, Digital & E-commerce Director at Bukowskis, has today been appointed the new CEO of Bukowski Auktioner AB. She takes over from departing CEO Anna-Karin Laurell.

“I’m delighted to be able to welcome Louise in her new role as CEO,” says Lukas Lundin, Board Chairman of Bukowskis. “Louise has played an incredibly important part in Bukowskis’ digital development. As we now take this work to the next level, I am firmly convinced that Louise is the right person to keep us moving forward.”
For the last year, Louise has been Bukowskis’ Digital & E-commerce Director. She has previously worked with strategic business development, marketing and digital development in management roles at companies including The Absolut Company, 3 and MTG.

“I want to strengthen Bukowskis’ position as Sweden’s commercial centre for art and design,” she explains. “We’ll be increasing our digital focus while also continuing to work on reinvigorating and reinforcing our customer offering within the fine art segment.”
Louise takes over from retiring CEO Anna-Karin Laurell, who has agreed with the board to leave her position due to differing opinions about the continued rate of change within Bukowskis.

“I would like to convey my sincere thanks to Anna-Karin, who has spearheaded major changes within the company over the last two years,” adds Lukas. “Bukowskis’ has had Sweden’s highest number of objects sold for more than SEK 1 million in recent years, and has also made significant inroads into the digital arena.”
