OUR SPECIALISTS’ FAVOURITES

Johanna Fock:
RUBBER BOOTS, CHANEL, size 38.
”The time has come to leave summer behind us, ushering in the autumn! This is the perfect opportunity to update your wardrobe with fabulous accessories to brighten up the autumnal gloom. Who says that rainy weather has to be unpleasant? Here we have a pair of attractive Chanel rubber boots that I for one would gladly wear to jump in puddles. These boots encapsulate everything that Chanel stands for: the elegance of the high heel, the classic black and white, the finesse of the camellia flowers and their sheer practicality. There’s no need to choose between looks and function! Embrace the autumn and the wet weather with a pair of beautiful rain boots from Chanel!”

Malin Sveholm:
827006. BAG, Chanel.
”The autumn fashion season has now arrived with plenty of fantastic new trends, one of the hottest of which is the fur bag. Instead of a classic muff, you can stroke a fur-adorned bag. The fur needn’t be real, but it should be brightly coloured and ideally with different effects. This little gem in deep lilac is right on trend this autumn!”

Marcus Nilsson:
A pair of PRADA high heel shoes, size 38.
”Elvis Presley sang about his blue suede shoes in 1956. If he had seen these 50s inspired Cadillac shoes, he would surely have rewritten the lyrics. Elvis had bought his first Cadillac the year before and had it repainted completely pink, which Cadillac subsequently copied. These shoes would have been the perfect complement! However, they were released in spring 2012 with a very long waiting list. Today, they rarely appear on the market in such brand new condition. In the words of the King himself: It’s Now or Never".

Mikael Wallhagen:
OFFICINE PANERAI, Luminor Marina 1950.
”Panerai is an Italian manufacturer which made its name by making watches for the Italian Navy. This model dates from 1950 and has a style all of its own, thanks to its unique crown lock.”

Mikael Wallhagen:
ROLEX, Oysterquartz, Datejust, Chronometer.
”Can a Rolex with a ticking second hand be genuine? Well, yes – during the quartz crisis of the 1970s, Rolex developed a battery-operated movement that ticks forward one second at a time, in contrast with most other models with their sweeping second hands.”

Tony Frank
JAEGER-LE COULTRE, Amvox 1, Special Edition Aston Martin
”The first collaboration between Aston Martin and Jaeger-LeCoultre came in 2005, resulting in a watch called AMVOX (Aston Martin/Memovox). The watch features a mechanical alarm and draws clear inspiration from the car’s instrument panel.”

Tony Frank
CARTIER, Tank Anglaise SM YG
”One of the most recent additions to the legendary Tank family is the Tank Anglaise. It was launched in 2012, paying direct tribute to the original model which was designed back in 1917 and released in 1919. Louis Cartier was inspired by the appearance of Renault’s tanks during the First World War, and the first prototype is said to have been given to US General John Joseph Pershing.”

Mikael Wallhagen:
OMEGA, Speedmaster, Co-Axial, Chronometer, "Tachymètre Base 1000".
”One of the world’s best-known chronographs is the Omega Speedmaster, chosen by NASA for all its astronauts following rigorous testing. This was the first watch to have a tachymeter scale on a ring outside the glass – a feature that later became popular with most manufacturers. The design of the Speedmaster has remained virtually unchanged since it was launched in 1957.”
