In 2025, Bukowskis further strengthened its market-leading position in the Nordic region, with by far the most lots exceeding 1 million SEK and several new world records.
The year was characterised by exceptional quality across both live auctions and curated online auctions, featuring works by masters such as Helene Schjerfbeck, Akseli Gallen-Kallela and Fernando Botero, alongside leading contemporary artists including Cecilia Edefalk and Ulla Wiggen, as well as outstanding design by Charlotte Perriand, Axel Salto and Mats Theselius. Among the unique historical objects was Queen Dowager Hedvig Eleonora’s writing desk from the Tre Kronor Palace. The year concluded with a widely acclaimed record for Isaac Grünewald’s masterpiece, "Circus".
