Falks horological boutique

This themed auction features watch-related items and books from the well-known watch boutique Åke Falk Urhandel at Nybrogatan 5 in Stockholm. Master watchmaker Åke Falk started his watchmaking business in 1959 on premises that had been a watch dealer since the beginning of the 20th century. Since 1997 the business has been managed by his sons, Thomas and Urban. Apart from selling new watches, the firm has worked extensively with repairing old and antique clocks. The store has recently closed. At the auction, we offer the store’s facade clock, its door handle designed as the OMEGA logo, and some additional display materials and tools. Added to this is an extensive collection of literature on clocks and watchmaking, the oldest of which are volumes from the 17th and 18th centuries illustrated with engraved plates.
