A yellow metal brocaded ground with knotted polychrome motifs of five clawed dragons chasing the burning pearl among clouds. A frame work of waves and the holy mountain. At the top a red field with an inscription: Taihedian beiyong ("To be used in the Taihe Palace", one of the main buildings in the Palace in Peking). The pile in silk.

Some wear, dirty, stains, insignificantly repaired.
