FRIEDRICH GOLDSCHEIDER, a ceramic mantel clock "Amicita", Simon, Wien, ca 1901/02, model 2305.
The clock flanked by a loving couple with intertwined hands, below the copper clock-face inscription: "AMICITA VINCIT HORAS", "Die Freundschaft besiegt die Stunden" (Friendship overcomes the time), signed Simon and back stamped GESETZLICH BESCHÜTZT 2305 481 35 Goldscheider WIEN. Dimensions ca 64 x 17 cm, height 54.5 cm. Key included.
