A CARPET, an antique/semi-antique Sivas/Sparta, ca 357-361 x 274-277 cm.

An ivory ground with a polychrome trellis pattern with flowers, palmettes and vases. A narrow dark blue main border with a flower and arabesque vine. The pattern in the field is inspired by Persian Vase carpets from the 17th century.

Some partly hard wear, dirty, stains, minor repairs, repaired tears, slightly painted, a discoloured area, mothdamages. The sides and ends minor fold wear.
