Bukowskis' Department of Furniture and Decorative Arts offers a beautiful Gustavian table by Georg Haupt (master in Stockholm 1770–1784), signed and dated 1781. A Swedish parcel-gilt silver bowl by Nicolaus Breumans from 1666–1676 with its globe-shaped handles and feet is one of the auction’s most magnificent objects.
The Asian Department presents sought-after items from several private collections, Buddha statues, pots and urns that represent an extraordinary craftsmanship. The top lot is a green-enamelled ’five clawed dragon’ jar with seal mark and period of Qianlong (1736-1795) from the Qing dynasty.
The jewellery department presents unique objects in exquisite quality with exciting provenance from various eras. Highlights include a 19th-century parure comprising a tiara, a necklace, a brooch and a pair of earrings in a fitted case and an 18K white gold Graff ring set with a step-cut tourmaline and two heart-cut diamonds.
The department of Carpets & Textiles includes a beautiful selection of different designs and materials; each one unique.
