More information

Elisabeth Ohlson (former Ohlson Wallin) has been inspired by biblical scenes and stories. Her major breakthrough came with the 1998 exhibition Ecce Homo, a series of photographs in which recognised scenes from the New Testament were staged with models from sexual minorities. As recently as 2019, her work 'Paradise', Sweden's first LGBTQ altarpiece, was forced down from St Paul's Church in Malmö.
