Highlights from Contemporary Art & Design included works by Andy Warhol, an extensive photography section, contemporary design masters, and an exciting lineup of unique studio design. One of the auction’s major highlights was a number of works by the American pop artist Andy Warhol. In total, the Warhol section featured seventeen works, three of which sold for over a million SEK. The most expensive piece sold was La Grande Passion, an acrylic and silkscreen on canvas from 1984, which achieved a final price of SEK 2,750,000. Two graphic works depicting Mick Jagger also sold for over a million SEK.
