Important Spring Sale Spring 2025

Live auction June 11–13, Arsenalsgatan 2, Stockholm

The auction featured several lots exceeding 1 million SEK, including well-known Swedish artists such as Anders Zorn, Carl Larsson, Lotte Laserstein, and Carl Milles. International highlights from the auction included a new world record for Félix Martinez and a spectacular final price for a painting by Akseli Gallen-Kallela. One of the more surprising highlights of the auction was the oil painting Dance in the Village, Philippines, by Filipino artist Félix Martinez, dated 1886. The painting attracted a lively bidding and sold for several times its pre sale estimate, achieving a final price of 4,625,000 SEK – a new world record for a work by Martinez.
