The present vase was part of the installation "Mixed Grill" that took place at Other Circle during Copenhagen Design Week 2025. The exhibition was a follow-up to a set of nine chairs that were shown at that year's Salone del Mobile in Milan. The vases, all unique, are made from remnants of the various types of wood used in the original chairs.

Nick Ross is a Scottish-Swedish designer. He studied at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen and at Konstfack in Stockholm before establishing his own Stockholm-based studio in 2014.
