The model was exhibited at the "Standard 1934" exhibition, organised in collaboration between the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design and the Swedish Association of Architects at Liljevalchs in Stockholm.

Sylvia Stave was a Swedish silversmith and designer. From 1931 to 1939, she was the artistic director for C.G. Hallberg in Stockholm, for whom she designed models in silver, silver plaque, and pewter. Her most famous works are her jugs and cocktail shakers with wrapped handles. She later moved to France. Her production has been internationally recognised by collectors for its pure, restrained design language.
