The Love bracelet was introduced by Cartier in 1969, designed by Aldo Cipullo in New York. Conceived as a unisex piece, it is characterized by its oval form and locking mechanism, secured to the wrist with a small screwdriver. The design reflects late 1960s ideals of permanence and attachment, with the screw motif becoming its defining visual element. Produced in gold and, later, set with diamonds, the Love bracelet has remained one of Cartier’s most recognizable and enduring designs.
