More information

According to the current owner, the watch was acquired by their stepfather at an employee sale of damaged goods held by Skandia on 15 December 1980. The procedure allowed interested employees to register their interest in items offered at predetermined prices, with allocation decided by a lottery. The watch was priced at SEK 3,000, and the stepfather won the draw and subsequently retained it in his possession. It was kept in a bank safe deposit box for many years and has since been stored at home.
