More information

Part of a single-owner collection of military watches.

The Lemania TG 195, often referred to as the “Tre Kronor” (Three Crowns), is one of the most iconic and sought-after Swedish military watches. Developed for the Swedish armed forces in the 1950s, it is fitted with the distinctive Lemania movement, based on a simplified chronograph construction. This particular example is furthermore fitted with the so-called “Glossy Capital TG Dial”, a rare dial variant that further enhances its appeal among collectors.

The TG 195 is not a chronograph in the traditional sense; rather, its function was modified for time synchronisation. When the push-piece is activated, the movement stops, the seconds hand returns to zero and the crown is released, allowing the time to be set with precision. The combination of its robust construction, distinctive black dial and clear military provenance has made the TG 195 a highly sought-after collector’s piece and an important part of Swedish horological history.
