A Japanese bronze censer, Meiji (1868-1912).
Baluster shape. Separable handles in the shape of winged dragons with moving heads and jaws. Decorated with silver inlays and gilt ornaments, flowers, grapevines, a pond and ducks, the side with elegant lady in a landscape. The top with turtles. Height 43 cm.
Wear. Scratches and small chips/marks.
