Stoneware, glazes in beige, green, and brown shades. Pressed and incised decoration of fruits and checkered patterns. Monogram signed. Diameter 9-11, height 6-8 cm.

Kirsten Sloth is a Danish ceramist. She was educated at the Jutland Art Academy in Århus from 1972-1975. Eventually she also started her workshop in Århus. Kirsten Sloth often works with utility items, preferring jars with lids which are decorated with stripes and lines, a stamp that marks where the lid should meet the jar is also her signature. Kirsten Sloth has been a member of the exhibition group "Eight Ceramists" in Jutland. She has participated in several group exhibitions in the USA, the Netherlands, Japan, and here in Sweden.
