A 'Blue Fluted Plain' / 'Musselmalet' tureen with cover and stand, Royal Copenhagen, 19th century, stand 20th century.

Oval with a shell-shaped finial and rocaille-shaped handles. Decorated with underglaze blue and fluted relief.
The cover marked "2". The tureen marked with 'bølgelinier' or wave pattern, blue painter's mark ".2" and "N2" in underglaze blue at the base.
The stand is later, marked "1/218" blue painter's signature "42-" and with a green stamp "Royal Copenhagen Denmark".
Height 25 cm. The tureen's length between the handles is 33 cm. The stand's length 45 cm.
