After an antique original located outside St Mark's Basilica in Venice.
In 1959, Svante Påhlson had castings made at Herman Bergman's Art Foundry of two of the horses from copies that were in the Glyptoteket in Copenhagen for Rottneros park.
Copies have been placed at Blasieholmstorg in Stockholm since 1989.
