The seller received the doll as a gift in the mid-1950s.
Bild-Lilli was originally a cartoon character, created by Reinhardt Boythien for the newspaper Bild-Zeitung in 1952.
The production of the doll was started by Hausser Elastolin in Germany in 1955, and is the inspiration for Barbie.
