Depicting a bacchanal motif. Marked Adriano Cecioni Firenze 1772. Verso with an inset medal "EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE 1889". Size 25x89 cm, with frame 57x120 cm.

Later frame. Wear due to age and use. The general impression is good.

The Exposition Universelle was a world's fair held in 1889 in Paris, France, to celebrate the centenary of the French Revolution of 1789. Among other things, the Eiffel Tower was constructed for the exhibition.
