Helsingfors Segelsällskap r.f. (HSS), (Helsinki Sailing Society) restaurateur and club stewardess Dagmar Bergenström acquired these plates for the restaurant, likely hand-painted by her daughter Ethel Bergenström, who was a skilled porcelain painter. They have been preserved in the family's possession since then.
