A CARPET, a semi-antique Tabriz, around 422 x 310 cm.
An ivory ground with a large polychrome medallion, corner ornaments, predators, deer, flower and palmette festoons as well as cartouches with inscriptions "Some are baffled in doubt simultaneously in conviction". One corner of the inner borders have an inscription in a star Sherkat Ghali bafian Mahmoud Djabarzadeh. A red main border with cloud bands, stylized flowers and large cartouches with inscriptions.
Some partly hard wear, dirty, stains. The sides and ends have fold wear and damages.
