Hand-carved from a single piece, diameter approx. 17 cm, height approx. 21.5 cm.
These special stools are named after the Tonga people, a group belonging to the Bantu ethnic group, who originated in South Africa and gradually migrated north to northern Zambia and northern Zimbabwe. Traditionally, only the head of the household could own and sit on a Tonga stool.
