Provenance

Abu-Garcia
ABU fishing lodge, where the Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia stayed several times during the 1970s and 1980s. The royal couple also visited the lodge before they became an official couple in 1976, thanks to the King being a close friend of the ABU owner's family, the Borgströms.
Prince Bertil, Princess Lillian, and the Finnish President Urho Kekkonen also stayed at the lodge several times, including during the 1970s and 1980s.

The entire Swedish acting elite of the 20th century has also sat at this table and chairs.
Among others: Nils Poppe, Gunver Bergqvist, Povel Ramel, Sigge Furst, Lasse Lönndahl, Lill-Babs, Lasse Berghagen, and the pop group Hepstars with Benny Andersson.

In more recent times, sports stars such as Zlatan, Brazilian star Maxwell, hockey star Henrik Zetterberg, and rock star Micky Dee from Motörhead & Scorpions, among others, have visited ABU's fishing lodge.
