Pot raised on three legs with volute feet, spout in the shape of an eagle head, palmette decoration. Wooden handle. Weight approx. 729 g. Height 19.5 cm, length 19.5 cm.

Osmo Lares was a distinguished Finnish diplomat who devoted his career to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His early postings took him to Prague (1956–1959), Cologne (1960–1964), and Paris (1966–1969). He subsequently served as Ambassador to Tokyo – with side accreditation to Seoul – from 1972 to 1978, followed by appointments to Canberra (1983–1987), The Hague (1987–1989), and Dublin (1989–1991).
